Alison Grossman was appointed Special Counsel to the Clerk of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit in October 2020. Prior to her appointment, she worked since 2009 in the U.S. District Court where she served as Career Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Ellen Segal Huvelle. Before that, she served as Career Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Louis F. Oberdorfer from 1999-2009. She was employed as an associate for the law firm Miller, Cassidy, Larroca & Lewin and as a law clerk to the Honorable Dolores K. Sloviter at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Ms. Grossman graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1992 where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Articles editor for the Virginia Law Review.
