Audio recordings of oral arguments before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit will become available online free of charge beginning September 9, 2013, the start of the Court’s 2013-2014 Term.
The audio recordings will be available on the Court’s website (www.cadc.uscourts.gov) by 2:00 p.m. on the same day of the oral argument. An archive of audio recordings going back to the 2007-2008 Term will also be available.
On May 14, 2013, the judges of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit voted unanimously to adopt this new policy.
Chief Judge Merrick B. Garland stated that “the Court is pleased to provide this new level of public access to our proceedings.”
